If your small or home office is looking for a unit that can meet needs exceptionally, check out the HP LaserJet Pro P1100. With decent speeds and high quality, most past users have no complaints. It can print up to 19 pages per minute, and it’s first page out time is as fast as 8.5 seconds, which means you won’t have to wait around for the first document to print out. Resolutions when printing are able to reach 600×600 dpi and 1200 dpi. One great aspect of this machine is its ability to create up to 5,000 pages every month. Experts, however, recommend you only use the machine from 250 pages to 1500 pages every month, which reduces the amount tremendously. For this reason, home users may be the best suited for the P1100. However, if your office generally doesn’t print often, it should work just fine.

Upon purchase, users are given 8 MB of memory with this machine. The downside to this machine in contrast to other similar products is its lack of expandability options. When it comes to the P1100, what you see is what you get. If your office expands, your wallet will need to expand too—you will probably need to purchase a new unit altogether.

Overall, consumer reviews for the HP P1100 are quite high, exceeding most people’s expectations. It is a simple laser printer, and its additional wireless printing feature is a favorite of many. Users also love its compact design and fast operational speeds. The quality of results produced is said to be both sharp and precise, according to users, and most find that paper jams are hardly a problem, unlike many units on the market. If you want something that will work great with your small or home office, pick the HP LaserJet Pro P1100.

The HP LaserJet Pro M1536nf offers home users and small office users decent speeds for an affordable price. A black-and-white, or monochrome, unit, don’t except color photos to pop out of its output tray. Lack of color printing may be a major drawback for a lot of home users, but for those who regularly only print things like coupons, term papers or lengthy work documents, this will prove to be an outstanding machine. It also offers networking and high speed USB connection, and it can scan, copy and fax.

With speeds of up to 26 pages per minute, the M1536nf won’t be the fastest machine on the market—it will be easy to find machines that can operate at speeds twice that! But most homes and small offices only print a few pages at a time, so this may not slow you down at all. With resolutions of up to 1200 dpi, high quality images will be the result time and time again. It will even be able to create photos with accuracy as well, although those will print in black-and-white only.

Only one HP M1536nf toner cartridge will be needed for printing, and this will be fairly easy to maintain and replace. Multiple paper sizes are supported, like letter, legal, postcard, envelope and executive. The monthly duty cycle is up to 8,000 pages, so most offices will easily be covered using the LaserJet Pro M1536nf.

Compatible with Linux, Windows and Mac operating systems, the M1536nf should be fairly easy to setup, and consumers agree that installation is a simple process. Its fax portion is fast as 3 seconds per page, and it has a fax memory of up to 400 pages. Faxes have resolutions of 300×300 dpi, and the copier has the ability to produce about 99 copies from an original document. Overall, you couldn’t ask for much more from an affordable all in one.

HP has all your needs covered—even when it comes to special occasions. When it comes to Halloween, HP even has ideas for you. No matter what you’re wanting, HP can make it happen. All of this is possible with HP Creative Studio headquarters.

For instance, if you want to make a card, click on the greeting cards option on your Creative Studio. There are many different types available. Want to make invitations for a holiday party? The studio has Halloween pumpkin invitations, and using glossy brochure or flyer paper only enhances the quality of these print outs.

Thinking about being a pirate, cowboy or princess this Halloween? If so, the HP party kits have something to offer. Here you can print out crowns, hats and accessories. Fancy masquerade masks can also be printed. Are you making your own costume this Halloween? Well HP can help with that too. With masks available like a space invader, space alien and space robot, you can have the main component of your Halloween costume quickly and inexpensively. HP iron-on transfers can also help you create a costume. If you want to be an NFL player, you can print out your favorite emblem and stick it on your costume, adding the essential features to make your costume work. These tricks work for children and adults alike!

If you’re making jack-o-lanterns, HP even has something to help you out there. HP offers a variety of templates for pumpkin carving. There are traditional faces like most are used to, but also monsters, bugs and ghosts too. If your children are too small for carving, you can always make a Halloween masks for your pumpkin.

Decorations can also be printed by clicking on “Frightful Window Decorations,”“Hair-Raising Lanterns,” “Spooky Streamers,” or “Floating Monsters” options. Each of these are each to print and will add a lot of character to your home.

The HP OfficeJet Pro 8000 is a multifunction inkjet printer that provides excellent office features and sharp print quality in a compact and affordable package. Designed for home and small office environments, it also has wireless printing support and fast speeds of up to 35 pages per minute for black and 34 pages per minute for color. HP 8000 ink is inexpensive, and XL cartridges add even more value.

One of the main highlights of the HP 8000 is certainly its wireless networking support. It can integrate into your existing wireless network with ease, or it can even act as a hub for other devices to connect to directly. Wireless setup is simple and allows users to print from almost anywhere in the house or office without messy wires. The unit is fairly compact, measuring 23.5 inches by 13 inches by 20 inches and weighs around 25 pounds. Print, copy and scan functions are all included, with a flatbed scanning surface but no automatic document feeder. The large 250-sheet input tray will appeal to busy users who won’t have to reload paper often.

OfficeJet Pro 8000 ink cartridges have a low cost per page, and using the XL HP 8000 with more capacity than the standard printer ink cartridges, results in an even lower cost per page that is easy on the budget. Duplexing (two-sided printing) also keeps paper costs lower when enabled. EnergyStar certification will also save energy.

User reviews of the HP 8000 are somewhat mixed. Many praise its low price and the economical OfficeJet Pro ink costs. They also like the wireless capabilities and the ease of setup. Some users complain of setup problems, especially for wireless, and some paper jams and other build quality issues.

Overall, home and small office users who want wireless printing will want to consider the HP OfficeJet Pro 8000. It offers excellent print quality and fast speeds for a very low price.

With a large paper capacity and automatic duplexing included, the HP LaserJet Pro P1606dn is a monochrome laser printer that is ready for a busy small office environment. Its print quality is very sharp, and its print speeds are fast, at up to 26 pages per minute, and it has an impressive first page out time as fast as 7 seconds. LaserJet Pro P1606dn toner prices won’t break the bank.

For a small office model, the machine has a very roomy paper capacity of 250 sheets. This keeps users from having to refill paper often. The printer can handle paper sizes from 3×5 inches to 8.5×14 inches, for a lot of flexibility. It has a monthly duty cycle of up to 8,000 pages per month, so it is ready to handle a high printing volume. It also includes a built-in Ethernet networking port for quickly and easily sharing it among multiple computers. The automatic duplexing feature helps conserve paper by printing on both sides automatically when enabled. Combining two-sided printing with the included toner saver feature can result in a great savings that makes it easy on the budget.

HP P1606dn toner cartridges are affordably-priced and very easy to find in stores and online. LaserJet Pro P1606dn toner cartridges have a large capacity, which means they won’t have to be replaced often. Since printer toner is a major part of the ongoing cost of any model, this is an important point.

In their review of the HP P1606dn laser printer, PC Magazine praised the low cost of toners, and its fast speeds and excellent text quality. They disliked its graphics quality, and thought photos suffered as well, but since the majority of users will be printing primarily text, they found this less of an issue.

Overall, the HP P1606dn has a lot of speed and sharp text quality to offer at an affordable price. The low cost of HP P1606dn toner is also icing on the cake.

The HP LaserJet Pro M1212nf is a monochrome multifunction laser printer designed for the small office or home environment. It can print, scan, fax and copy and has impressive printing speeds of up to 19 pages per minute. LaserJet Pro M1212nf toner costs are low, saving offices money each time they replace printer toner.

While it’s not the most compact machine on the block, it has a fairly small footprint, measuring 12 inches by 17.1 inches by 10.4 inches and weighing 18.3 pounds. The unit includes 64 MB of memory, allowing it to handle graphics-intensive prints easily. Although it is limited to 600 dpi, HP’s FastRes 1200 technology simulates printing at 1200 dpi for sharper prints. Copying supports reduction and enlargement from 25% to 400% and up to 99 copies can be made at once. Faxing transmission speeds are fast, at up to 33.6 kbps, and the unit can also slow down transmission to accommodate slower machines. There is a 35-sheet automatic document feeder for quickly scanning, faxing or copying multiple pages at once for efficient operation, and it can handle pages up to legal size.

HP M1212nf toner is very affordable. LaserJet Pro toner cartridges have a capacity of 1,600 pages, for a very low cost per page. Toners are easy to access and replace.

In their review of the HP M1212nf, Computer Shopper rated it 7.9 out of 10. They liked its fast speeds, its OCR capability, and its excellent print quality. The disliked its lack of WiFi and automatic duplexing, and thought its cost per page could have been better.

Overall, the HP LaserJet Pro M1212nf is a good buy for a small office. Its low upfront price and the low price of HP M1212nf toner cartridges make it very economical all around. With a lot of features in a compact and affordable machine, the M1212nf is a great value.

The HP Color LaserJet CP4525 is a color laser printer designed for the medium or large office environment. Its stellar network integration and blazing fast speeds make it an excellent choice for enterprise environments.

The HP CP4525 is all business, but its color printing capabilities allow for a lot of creativity as well. Its design is surprisingly compact when considering its speed and paper capacities, although adding more paper capacity will of course add to its size. The printer measures 16.5 inches by 21.3 inches by 20.6 inches, and weighs 84.9 pounds. Initial paper capacity is 600 sheets, but it can be upgraded to a maximum of 2,100 sheets if needed by adding optional trays.

Along with a USB connection, the CP4525 has built-in ethernet that can support any speed up to gigabit ethernet. It has an integrated print server with a wide range of features for managing print jobs, changing settings, and other tasks. The printer can support a large number of users with its 800 MHz processor and 512 MB of RAM. Unfortunately, the RAM can not be upgraded, but it is unlikely that even the largest office would need more memory.

HP LaserJet CP4525 toner cartridges have a capacity of 11,000 pages for each color and 17,000 for black, so even an enterprise office will not need to replace the HP CP4525 toner cartridges often. The HP CP4525 toner cartridges are in the standard configuration of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black.

Print speed is a very fast 42 pages per minute. Print quality is excellent across the board. Text quality is some of the best available on the market. Graphics and color quality is stellar as well. Photos are nearly as good as a dedicated photo printer, at a much faster print speed.

Overall, the HP Color LaserJet CP4525 is an expensive printer, but for the enterprise office that needs speed, quality, and reliability, you can’t go wrong with the CP4525.

The HP Color LaserJet CM1015 MFP is a color laser printer with multifunction capabilities, designed for the personal user or small office environment. Its print quality and features are good, but slow speeds and lack of faxing capabilities may be a problem for some buyers.

The CM1015 has a somewhat unorthodox design aesthetic. It is taller than many multifunction machines, and its curviness is somewhat appealing and futuristic. Unfortunately, its output tray juts out so far to the front that it ruins much of its good looks. The unit is definitely too big for a desk, but not too large to fit into a small office. Measuring 20.7 by 17.25 by 20 inches (HWD) and weighing 45 pounds, it is lighter than the average multifunction machine, and will be fairly easy to move around when necessary.

Setup is very easy, requiring the user to unpack the machine, load paper, install the software, and connect the cables. Clear instructions walk you through the entire process.

The machine is lacking some features that are included in competing devices. First, the HP CM1015 has no fax capability. While this may not be such an issue for the personal user or the small office, it is a convenient feature to have, and is already included in comparably priced multifunction printers from other manufacturers. Second, the unit has no automatic document feeder, meaning that scanning and copying documents must be done one page at a time. Again, this may be less of an issue for a personal user who only needs to scan or copy occasionally, but competing devices include at least a small automatic document feeder at comparable prices.

Print quality is excellent. The focus is on clear, sharp text, and this unit delivers. Graphics and photos print quite well, but show the typical problems of a laser printer in this regard. Print speed, however, is generally slow, lagging well behind much of its competition.

Overall, the HP Color LaserJet CM1015 MFP is a decent laser printer with good print quality. Lack of many useful features and slow print speeds make it difficult to recommend in the face of better competing units.

This affordable monochrome laser printer is geared toward home or small office users who need laser quality for a budget price. While it forgoes some of the frills of more expensive printers, it delivers great quality and decent speeds at a very low price. Its compact design makes it about the size of a large inkjet printer, ideal for home users who are upgrading from an inkjet to a laser for higher-quality printing. In many cases, the HP LaserJet 1020 will occupy the same space and footprint.

Another advantage of laser printers over inkjets is ink savings, and the HP 1020 doesn’t disappoint here either. The single black cartridge costs around $75 or less to replace, resulting in a cost per page of about 3.5 cents. Cartridges have a capacity of 2,000 pages, so while the upfront cost of cartridges is undoubtedly more expensive than in inkjet, the savings will be significant in the long run. Print speed is around 12 pages per minute, which is average for its price and class.

There is no mistaking the 1020 for a high-volume office printer, however. Its monthly duty cycle is recommended at 5,000 pages. This may pose a problem even for home or small office users who do a large volume of printing in a month. The printer lacks duplexing (two-sided) capabilities and has no included ethernet port. Lack of an ethernet port is likely a cost-saving measure, and seeing as how the low monthly duty cycle would keep the 1020 from being a good network printer, is forgivable for its intended users. The input tray has a capacity of only 150 pages, further limiting users who need to print a lot of pages at once.

Overall, the HP LaserJet 1020 is a compact printer with good print quality. Home users may find it a good fit, but some will need to consider their print volume needs before purchasing, as it is not designed for high-volume use.
