If your small or home office is looking for a unit that can meet needs exceptionally, check out the HP LaserJet Pro P1100. With decent speeds and high quality, most past users have no complaints. It can print up to 19 pages per minute, and it’s first page out time is as fast as 8.5 seconds, which means you won’t have to wait around for the first document to print out. Resolutions when printing are able to reach 600×600 dpi and 1200 dpi. One great aspect of this machine is its ability to create up to 5,000 pages every month. Experts, however, recommend you only use the machine from 250 pages to 1500 pages every month, which reduces the amount tremendously. For this reason, home users may be the best suited for the P1100. However, if your office generally doesn’t print often, it should work just fine.

Upon purchase, users are given 8 MB of memory with this machine. The downside to this machine in contrast to other similar products is its lack of expandability options. When it comes to the P1100, what you see is what you get. If your office expands, your wallet will need to expand too—you will probably need to purchase a new unit altogether.

Overall, consumer reviews for the HP P1100 are quite high, exceeding most people’s expectations. It is a simple laser printer, and its additional wireless printing feature is a favorite of many. Users also love its compact design and fast operational speeds. The quality of results produced is said to be both sharp and precise, according to users, and most find that paper jams are hardly a problem, unlike many units on the market. If you want something that will work great with your small or home office, pick the HP LaserJet Pro P1100.

Want a workgroup laser printer that operates strictly in black-and-white? If so, you should check out the HP LaserJet P3010. With fast speeds and a monthly duty cycle of over 100,000 pages, you will find that this machine fits easily into any size office. Its compact size makes it an easy fit too at 17.6×16.2×18.9 inches; however, it is a little on the hefty side weighing 46.5 pounds.

Complete with a status LCD, you can view documents pre-print. The P3010 offices wired connectivity via USB and ethernet, and duplex printing does come standard as an added function. Upon purchase, 128 MB of memory are included, but that can be upgraded when needed to as high as 640 MB. For those who may have expanding needs in the future, this option is quite a treat.

Speeds of 42 pages per minute will mean that everyone in your office can print to their heart’s content without worrying about having to wait minute after minute for documents to print. Resolutions of up to 1200×1200 dpi are even offered, meaning high quality prints are always the result. Worried your needs are too versatile? You shouldn’t be worried—envelopes, labels, transparencies, cards, plain paper and bond paper are all supported.

Overall, users seem to be quite satisfied with HP LaserJet P3010 and all of its features. Its fast speeds are applauded often, and consumers find it efficient, almost always meeting needs. The P3010 operates fast, according to users, and it also operates quietly. Probably the most commonly praised feature of this unit, though, is its low operating costs, thanks to inexpensive toner cartridges. Though there are multiple high reviews, a few people have complained about having trouble with the envelope feeder—mainly that documents print out slanted or crooked. If envelope printing isn’t a necessity though, there may not be a better pick on the market.

The HP LaserJet 1000 offers personal laser printing at an affordable price. Its only real downfall for home users tends to be its lack of color printing capabilities, meaning it is a monochrome unit. For those who print only text documents in their home, like essays, book reports or legal documents, the LaserJet 1000 will be perfect for. However, if fast speeds are imperative, you may want to look elsewhere too. It only weighs 17.6 pounds, meaning it will be portable if needed, and it barely takes up any space with a size of only 16.3×19.1×10 inches.

At 10 pages per minute, those who print at large volumes may find this unit to be less than optimal. For most home users who print homework, office work or coupons, it should work just fine. Its maximum resolution of 600×600 dpi will leave photos or difficult graphics looking a little grainy, but will leave text documents looking sharp and professional. Due to the fact it is a monochrome device, you only need to maintain and replace one black HP 1000 toner cartridge, and that will last 2,500 pages before needing replaced.

Overall, consumers—old and new alike—tend to really like the HP LaserJet 1000. Most find that setup and installation are simple, and that the machine itself is easy to use as well. Users also tend to find the speed and quality to be sufficient, as well as the life of the toner cartridges. It is also praised for its low operating costs. However, along with the positives, come a few negatives, like lack of Mac compatibility. Some have also complained about the lack of connective options, since the machine offers only USB connective options. For the most part, though, those who use the 1000 seem to be happy with its results.

There are a lot of printers out there built with large offices in mind. The HP LaserJet P4510 is one of those units, loaded with features and enough power to crank out up to 275,000 pages monthly. Able to create up to 62 pages per minute with a first page out time of only 8.5 seconds, you will find this unit to be quite speedy. Not only that, but it is capable of high quality too, producing documents with resolutions as high as 1200×1200 dpi. A monochrome laser, it only offers black-and-white printing, which could be a turn-off for many buyers, but for those who mostly print text documents, there probably isn’t a better machine out there on the market.

Coming standard with 128 MB of memory, it should suffice the needs of most users. However, if more memory is needed, the HP LaserJet P4510 offers expansion options of up to 640 MB, and its processor speed is 540 MHz. Two paper trays are included upon purchase, but that can be upgraded too. Automatic duplex printing is optional as well.

Many media types are supported, and multiple sizes of each can be printed on too. Bond, color, letterhead, recycled, plain, preprinted, rough and pre-punched paper are all compatible, as well as labels, envelopes, cardstock and transparencies. The only problem with all these options seems to be the unit’s lack of an automatic document feeder.

Compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems only, the HP LaserJet P4510 may not fit into every office. For those who do operate with one of those two systems, though, size wise, it will be very easy to find a spot for. It has dimensions of only 16.5×17.7×15.5 inches, which is quite compact for a large office. Its weight, though, is a little hefty at 56.92 pounds. Overall, users are fans of everything this little machine has to offer, and its low costing toner makes it even more valuable.

The HP LaserJet Pro M1536nf offers home users and small office users decent speeds for an affordable price. A black-and-white, or monochrome, unit, don’t except color photos to pop out of its output tray. Lack of color printing may be a major drawback for a lot of home users, but for those who regularly only print things like coupons, term papers or lengthy work documents, this will prove to be an outstanding machine. It also offers networking and high speed USB connection, and it can scan, copy and fax.

With speeds of up to 26 pages per minute, the M1536nf won’t be the fastest machine on the market—it will be easy to find machines that can operate at speeds twice that! But most homes and small offices only print a few pages at a time, so this may not slow you down at all. With resolutions of up to 1200 dpi, high quality images will be the result time and time again. It will even be able to create photos with accuracy as well, although those will print in black-and-white only.

Only one HP M1536nf toner cartridge will be needed for printing, and this will be fairly easy to maintain and replace. Multiple paper sizes are supported, like letter, legal, postcard, envelope and executive. The monthly duty cycle is up to 8,000 pages, so most offices will easily be covered using the LaserJet Pro M1536nf.

Compatible with Linux, Windows and Mac operating systems, the M1536nf should be fairly easy to setup, and consumers agree that installation is a simple process. Its fax portion is fast as 3 seconds per page, and it has a fax memory of up to 400 pages. Faxes have resolutions of 300×300 dpi, and the copier has the ability to produce about 99 copies from an original document. Overall, you couldn’t ask for much more from an affordable all in one.

The HP LaserJet 1320 is one of the most popular printers on the market, but why? Its monthly duty cycle of 10,000 pages may have something to do with its popularity or maybe the fact that automatic duplex printing comes standard. Its ability to print on multiple papers like envelopes, cardstock, labels, transparencies, heavy media, bond paper, light paper, heavy paper, plain paper, rough paper and recycled paper are all supported. It comes standard with an automatic duplexer, and it can connect via USB or parallel port. It can hold up to 500 sheets in its input trays, and its output trays can support 125 sheets of paper. The 1320 weighs 24.7 pounds, and it has dimensions of 13.8x14x10.1 inches.

Due to the fact this machine only makes black-and-white prints, you are only going to need one HP 1320 toner cartridge filled with black printer toner. The standard capacity LaserJet 1320 toner can last 2,500 pages, while a high capacity version is available that can yield 6,000 pages. Using either of these toners, resolutions as high as 1200×1200 dpi are possible. Those resolutions will definitely give you something to smile about. The HP 1320 toner has a low cost per page, making it even more attractive.

The majority of consumers have only positive things to say about this printer. Users love how clear the print quality is using HP 1320 toner, and the duplex printing option is a big hit across the board. The low upfront price is impressive, and the quick and easy set up is praised often. The low price of the LaserJet 1320 toner and plug-and-play features with Windows are excellent, according to users. Though some wish it printed color documents too, most are happy with the 1320 and find it to be a wonderful addition to their small offices.

The HP LaserJet P2050 was built with small to midsized office users in mind. This laser printer’s monthly duty cycle of 50,000 pages is a little deceiving though, because HP recommends users only use this product 750 to 3,000 pages each month. This will probably do just fine for small office users, but those with high printing needs might need to look for a different HP model.

Weighing only 23.6 pounds, this machine will be easy to lift or move around if needed. The dimensions of 14.4×14.5×10.6 inches also make it easy to place nearly anywhere. For a mid-volume printer like this, you probably aren’t going to find a more compact model. It is also very versatile with its manual feed, straight-through paper path and sheet-fed options. A lot of media types are compatible with this machine too like bond paper, light paper, plain paper, heavy paper, recycled paper, rough paper, envelopes, cardstock, heavy media, labels and transparencies.

Only one LaserJet P2050 toner cartridge needs to be used with this unit, and using it up to 35 pages per minute can be printed. Resolutions of 1200×1200 dpi are possible, and these will leave documents looking sharp and professional. For those who need color printing, this just won’t do, but for those who need just black-and-white documents, there may not be a better model out there due to its speeds and quality.

User reviews of the HP LaserJet P2050 are very positive. Users love the duplex, or double-sided, printing feature, and the users love how reliable this machine is. Paper jams are few and far between, according to consumers, and the speed is also praised often. The problems users find revolve around typically have to do with noise—users find it to be a little loud for the workplace. For the most part , though, this machine is rated highly.

The HP LaserJet P4015 is a workgroup monochrome laser printer built for large office environments. With its compact size of 16.5×17.7×15.5 inches, it will fit easily into any office environment. It has a hefty weight, though, of 56.9 pounds, which could be a little difficult for one person to move around. It has the ability to produce up to 225,000 pages each month, which will definitely fit the needs of large offices, if not exceed them.

Many media types are compatible with this laser unit, like cards, recycled paper, bond paper, transparencies, envelopes, plain paper and labels. Windows and Mac are the only operating systems it is compatible with, and USB and ethernet connections are both supported. Wireless printing is not featured, which could be a major drawback for some offices, but networking does come standard. The P4015 also offers a 500-sheet input tray and 100-sheet output tray.

When using the HP P4015 toner, up to 52 pages can be printed each minute. For a laser printer that is so small and compact, these speeds are quite impressive. It also has a first page out time of only 8.5 seconds, which means you won’t have to waste much time waiting for the machine to heat up and start working. These LaserJet P4015 toners can also reach resolutions as high as 1200×1200 dpi. This means that whenever you print, you will b printing documents with high quality that will sharp and precise.

The one black HP P4015 toner needed for printing has a high page yield of 10,000 pages, which makes it quite a steal for its low price. If you need even higher page yields, though, high capacity versions of the LaserJet P4015 toner cartridges are offered as well that can yield up to 24,000 pages. These will last even longer, however, the price increase is significant.

Sometimes a simple monochrome laser printer is not enough. Some buyers want to replace multiple machines in the office with a single energy-efficient device. That is the aim of the HP LaserJet M2727nf. It is a multifunction device that can print, scan, copy and fax. It comes at a low price and the affordability of HP M2727nf toner makes it easy on the budget.

Speed is always a major factor with any office machine, as users don’t want to be slowed down or kept waiting. The print and copy speed is up to 27 pages per minute for very solid performance. The unit includes 64 MB of RAM for handling large print jobs or graphics-intensive tasks. Its size is a little on the bulky side for its class. The unit measures 18 inches by 19.7 inches by 16 inches and weighs 37.9 pounds.

The multifunction features are very well-designed and integrate well together. Up to 99 copies can be made at once, and it supports reduction and enlargement from 25 to 400 percent. Printing and copying both support 2-up and 4-up prints, which can put multiple pages on a single page for archiving or saving paper costs.

Faxing supports up to 120 entries for quick dialing, and there are 16 quick-dial entries available, accessible from one-touch buttons. Other features include delayed fax, forward faxing and secure mode, which requires a password to protect sensitive faxes.

Although the price of the HP M2727nf is a bit higher than many models in its class, it makes up for it with the low price of LaserJet M2727nf toner cartridges. HP M2727nf toner is very affordable, making overall operating costs lower than many competing units and making it a better value in the long term.

Home or small office users who need a robust, fast and reliable multifunction device will find the HP LaserJet M2727nf to be an excellent choice.

With a large paper capacity and automatic duplexing included, the HP LaserJet Pro P1606dn is a monochrome laser printer that is ready for a busy small office environment. Its print quality is very sharp, and its print speeds are fast, at up to 26 pages per minute, and it has an impressive first page out time as fast as 7 seconds. LaserJet Pro P1606dn toner prices won’t break the bank.

For a small office model, the machine has a very roomy paper capacity of 250 sheets. This keeps users from having to refill paper often. The printer can handle paper sizes from 3×5 inches to 8.5×14 inches, for a lot of flexibility. It has a monthly duty cycle of up to 8,000 pages per month, so it is ready to handle a high printing volume. It also includes a built-in Ethernet networking port for quickly and easily sharing it among multiple computers. The automatic duplexing feature helps conserve paper by printing on both sides automatically when enabled. Combining two-sided printing with the included toner saver feature can result in a great savings that makes it easy on the budget.

HP P1606dn toner cartridges are affordably-priced and very easy to find in stores and online. LaserJet Pro P1606dn toner cartridges have a large capacity, which means they won’t have to be replaced often. Since printer toner is a major part of the ongoing cost of any model, this is an important point.

In their review of the HP P1606dn laser printer, PC Magazine praised the low cost of toners, and its fast speeds and excellent text quality. They disliked its graphics quality, and thought photos suffered as well, but since the majority of users will be printing primarily text, they found this less of an issue.

Overall, the HP P1606dn has a lot of speed and sharp text quality to offer at an affordable price. The low cost of HP P1606dn toner is also icing on the cake.
