DEMOCR300 HP LaserJet P2035

The HP LaserJet P2035 is a monochrome laser printer designed for the small or medium office user.  It features blazing fast speeds and high quality prints at a very affordable price.

One look at the specs for the LaserJet P2035 makes it obvious that it was built for one thing: speed.  With its 30 pages per minute printing engine, it is one of the fastest monochrome laser printers on the market.  Of course, maximum print speed is only part of the story, as it will only reach this speed once it is warmed up, which is why the P2035 also boasts an impressive first page out time of 8 seconds.  One might think that this speed must come at a price, but the P2035 manages to stay very affordable as well.  Print quality is not sacrificed either, as the printer produces very high-quality prints, with especially sharp text quality.

The design of the HP P2035 is almost compact enough to work as a personal laser printer, measuring 14.4 inches by 26.7 inches by 10.6 inches, and weighing 23.6 pounds.  Printer technology has advanced quite a bit in the past few years, and it is impressive to see this small of a printer capable of such fast printing speeds.

The P2035 is also a very “green” printer, as it includes many features designed to conserve waste and energy.  The printer is EnergyStar certified, and uses its fast first page out time to make going into standby mode less of a hassle.  The printer consumes very little power when in standby mode, so it can be left on and ready to use very quickly.  HP also offers a program for recycling toner cartridges, to eliminate waste from throwing away old cartridges.  Unfortunately, HP’s prices for toner cartridges are much more expensive than compatible cartridges which can be found on the internet.

Overall, the HP LaserJet P2035 is an impressive printer with the fast speeds and high-volume design to keep up with any office.  Lack of an ethernet port or duplexing are the only minor drawbacks.
