It’s possible that you need a simple printer, one that will get the job done, but won’t cost much, and won’t take up your entire workspace. HP has recently come out with the HP LaserJet p1006 which is the smallest LaserJet they’ve made to date. It not only takes up the least amount of space, but also uses the least amount of power! For those who just want to print out text documents, this compact monochrome printer is right for you.

It’s perfect for both small business or even personal needs if you’re just looking to print off a few items every couple of hours. The HP LaserJet p1006 is great for labels, envelopes, spreadsheets, and even invoices.

Featuring a 266 mhz processor, 8 megabytes of memory, and 17 pages per minute, it’s perfect for those who are just starting out. This sleek printer also features Instant On, meaning that it turns on the second you press the button. This means that you’ll get that first page two times faster than you would with an average printer. It also features a unique ‘stop’ button on the front of the machine so that you can cancel printing immediately if you need to. When you consider how long it normally takes the operating system to remove a job from the queue, the document is probably printed by the time it finally stops. This will likely save paper in the long run.

The cartridges for this machine only cost around $40, due to the fact that they are just monochrome cartridges. While it may only be monochrome, monochrome can mean the world for someone who just needs to print out a few documents.

If you’re looking for a printer that does the basics and takes up the least amount of power as well as desk space, then you won’t do much better than the HP LaserJet p1006.
