DEMOCR300 HP printing papers

You probably know that there are many different types of paper for your HP printer, but you may not know that although each paper can be used for an array of tasks, each paper has specific uses that produce the best results.

HP has 12 types of paper that fall into 4 main categories.  These categories are multipurpose printing, photo printing, color business printing and special media printing.

Multipurpose papers are best for standard, basic office and home printing.  The three papers in this category are HP Multipurpose, HP Bright White Inkjet and HP LaserJet paper.  The Multipurpose paper is best for general documents, such as copies and faxes.  This paper is simple and produces bright, sharp documents that always look professional.  HP Bright works best for presentations and newsletters, while HP LaserJet paper is great for office documents with color.

When looking at photo papers, HP Premium Plus photo is the best option. It is fade resistant and perfect for framed photos or photo gifts. The second type, HP Premium, is designed specifically to look and feel like a real photo.  HP Advanced photo paper, a heavier paper that allows ink to dry instantly, preventing smudging.  This is great for photos that will be framed under glass or photos for children.

The last is HP Color Laser Brochure paper, which is much like HP Brochure and Flyer, except it contains a glossy finish.

The last type of paper is special media printing paper.  There are two versions of this HP Iron-on Transfer paper and HP LaserJet Tough Paper, which is perfect for signs, blueprints, catalogs and business cards.

When it comes to high-quality printing paper with variety, HP has you covered—especially when it comes to variety!
